Lintel: an architectural element crowning a door, a window or a colonnade that is placed horizontally on weight-bearing structures (columns, pillars, jambs).

Loggia: an architectural space open on one or more sides through a sequence of columns or pillars. It can serve as a porch if placed against the outer part of a wall, or as a gallery, if used as an element connecting two wings of a building.

Low reliefs: a sculptural technique in which figures or ornaments are executed with little volume and emerge only slightly from the work’s background.

Lunette: the portion of a wall with a semicircular shape.
